New Tricks!

Hagen went through a phase for about four months when he spent t least 2-3 hours per day in the jumper. He would just go completely crazy and jump and giggle and was adorable.  This is how I got through my workouts in the morning and dinner fixed in the evening.  It was typical of him to fall asleep to and so very cute!
Oh the beauty of this baby putting his own binky in! This trick took him a long time to master, but once he did he was one happy boy. I loved this, I went to check on him during his nap and found this.  I managed to get his binky in but upside down, he didn't care though, it was enough to get him back to sleep!
This boy loves to play and is starting to "enjoy" Cole' rough play a little more.  Hagen is ecstatic over any amount of attention he gets!
Enter Hagen's perfect phase: Hagen started sitting really well by himself at six 1/2 months.  He became the most content little man in the world.  He was always easy, but once he could sit up he would sit and play with a bucket of toys for literally an hour and never make a peep.  He was so happy to be able to look around and reach things!
It took him awhile to get in a sitting position himself so whenever he would tip over he would squawk until someone sat him upright.
At six months we introduced solids to the boy.  He was instantly in love.  I found NOTHING that he wouldn't eat.  When I would feed him rice or oatmeal cereal I would have to give him a fruit every other bite or he would gag but he still ate it.  His favorites are bananas, mangos, sweet potatoes, squash, spinach and potatoes.  His least favorite (but he still eats them) are pears, carrots, and peas.  He is such a gem, I love to feed him because he can tank a whole baby food in just a few seconds.  Hagen also still nurses every few hours as well, he took a bottle of breastmilk a few times when he was a couple months old but absolutely refuses now.  (I secretly LOVE this because it means that I never have to leave him!)
We let Hagen bath in the sink, the big kids thought this was way cooler than Hagen did, but he still had fun splashing the whole kitchen!
