Pre Christmas Getaway

 Hagen had an eye appointment scheduled for the first Friday in December.  We planned a little weekend adventure to go see the lights at Temple Square and let the kids swim at  a hotel.  The night before we were supposed to leave the Dr.'s office called and cancelled the appointment saying that the dr. had had a medical emergency and would be out of the office for a few weeks.  We debated about whether or not to go down anyway, but decided that we better since the kids were so excited to go. I am really glad we did. We had a great time seeing the lights, swimming at the hotel and playing at the Gateway Discovery Center the next day.  Hagen's favorite part was swimming for sure, he loved the water.  He also really liked the Discovery Center once he woke up.
