Week Before Christmas

The week before Christmas was hectic and fun. We had lots of parties and things to take care of.  Hagen and Cole were sick for a good part of the week.  Hagen ran a fever on and off and was a complete grump! He is cutting two more teeth on top which will make four on top and two on bottom.  The kids are so excited for Christmas and so am I, but mostly for it to be over! We had our ward party and Hagen got to sit on the creepy Santa's lap, he was horrified and truthfully I was too.

Hagen is just too cute and too much fun.  He giggles over everything, eats like a horse and my personal favorite is when he shakes his head "no" at everything I say.  I am trying to get him to say "mama" he won't. He just grins and shakes his head, he will mimic the sound "dada" though.  Then he laughs, it is honestly like he knows he is teasing me! When Hagen is in the living room he won't crawl around the furniture to get to the kitchen, he always crawls through this end table. He has gotten stuck, taken many a headers, and even been high centered in this thing but continues to crawl through it.  He is everywhere now and crawls all over the house exploring things. With Hagen's eye condition we were told that he may develop a "head tilt" or "head nod".  He did this funny thing when he was about four or five months old where he would jerk his head back and forth once in a while. He has quit doing that but has the most adorable head tilt now.  When he is really trying to get a good angle on something or really studying something he tips his head clear to one side and looks at it from a side angle. It is really cute and so funny to watch him.  I sometimes convince myself that he can see just fine, like everyone else. He is developing completely normal and right on track. He crawls for really small things from far away and picks them up and doesn't bump into things when he crawls.  But then he does the "head tilt" and I realize that he obviously can't see perfectly if he has to do that.
