March 2013
Hagen turned two and his birthday post will have to come a little later since all his birthday pictures are on Grandpa's computer. He is getting so big now though and is talking like crazy. I was really worried about his speech for a long time and even had him evaluated by a speech therapist. The other kids seemed to be talking a lot more earlier, and it was on the list of "expected delays" for kids with OA. The therapist told me that they will re-test him when he is two years old, but by the way he is talking (literally in sentences overnight) I know he is just fine.
Aunt Chelsey finally gave me enough grief over the fact that he still had a binky that we finally chucked it. I have really hesitated to let this baby grow up. Not to mention the fact that he still doesn't sleep very well at all. That binky has been my saving grace at nights.
Not only did I get grief from Chelsey but Regg informed me that when the kid brings me a new diaper so I can change his poop it is time to potty train him. We are working on that but it is definately challenging.
Hagen wants to be big like the other kids and throws some pretty good tantrums when he isn't quite big enough to play their games.
