Fall

Homecoming Parade, I loved Hagen's hand on is heart.  When Hagen heard the cop cars that are always at the first of the parade he said, "Sand Dunes Mom"! Funny because every time we hear sirens at our house someone says that there must be an accident at the sand dunes.  The sound of a siren is associated with sand dunes now!

Spud Harvest started out with a bang.  The kids love to be part of the excitement of digging potatoes. They all went and rode with Grandma one morning while I was visiting teaching.  She likes to "make memories" with the kids during this time of year.  They also spent a morning making suckers, an afternoon making doughnuts, and another rather eventful (Hayes was born) afternoon cleaning out the garden.  To these kids, spud harvest is one huge party!

Hagen goes a bit stir crazy inside and it is so nice that I can send him out to play and trust Kallie completely with him.  They spent the afternoon picking up sticks in the feild to add to our huge burn pile.
